Designing and leading an experimental study exploring contextual influences on young children’s gender cognitions. Supported by Bogazici University Research Fund.

Spring 2009 – February 2010, ACEV, Istanbul Turkey

Designed and lead a mixed design empirical research assessing the effectiveness of Anne Çocuk Eğitim Vakfı’s (ACEV, Mother Child Education Foundation) mother training programs in Turkey for mothers of children aged 7 to 11. Funded by ACEV.

Spring 2009 – January 2010

Examining familial and contextual factors associated with delayed school entry in collaboration with UNICEF and Ministry of Education. Working with a team of researchers, responsibilities included developing research instruments, analyzing the results and writing the report. Funded by UNICEF
